Job Title - Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager - Sales Division - Weir Minerals Location: Bhubaneswar / Delhi / Bengaluru (Base location flexible; role covers Eastern India) Purpose of Role: This position will be responsible for driving sales and business development for the Enduron® range of crushing and screening equipment across mining customers in Eastern India. The role will focus on developing new business opportunities and expanding market presence across both greenfield projects and brownfield equipment replacement opportunities. In addition, the role will support identification of opportunities for ESCO® crusher liners for competitive equipment, leveraging the installed base of crushing and screening solutions. The position will own the complete sales cycle from enquiry generation through order closure and cash collection. Key responsibilities include territory development, tracking market competition and defining counter strategies, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver timely execution and a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop potential customers within the assigned territory, strengthening the presence of the Enduron® brand in crushing and screening equipment. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across large and mid-sized corporate customers within the iron ore mining sector, as well as sand and aggregate industries. Plan and execute sales and promotional activities for comminution solutions, including crushing and screening equipment and ESCO® crusher liners. Generate and manage enquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement with prospective customers. Support sales planning through accurate budget forecasting and contribute towards achieving assigned targets on a pro-rata basis. Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams. Lead techno-commercial discussions with customers and support order closure in line with business objectives. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support successful project execution, commissioning, and completion. Own the end-to-end sales process from quotation through order fulfillment and cash collection. Coordinate with after-sales and service teams to ensure a positive customer experience and long-term satisfaction. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Minerals Processing, or a related technical discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of crushing and screening solutions within the mining sector, with a proven track record of developing business and closing opportunities. Strong familiarity with mining customers and market dynamics across Eastern India, particularly Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand. Experience managing end-to-end sales activities, including techno-commercial discussions, proposal preparation, and order closure. Ability to work independently in a field-based role while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory to support customer engagement and business growth.
