Working Location: Hung Hom, Kowloon City Employment Duration: 24 months / Permanent Applications are invited for the above post in the Product Portfolio Management, Innovation & SoC Programmes Team of Retail Strategy & Product Portfolio Management Department. Reporting to the Manager - Soc Programmes & Initiatives, the appointee will be responsible for the following: Major Duties: Be a team lead to oversee all the technical and financial assessment tasks (including site verification) for the energy saving projects (retrofitting or retro-commissioning) subsidy application under the funding schemes implemented by CLP Power. Be a gate keeper to ensure technical and financial assessment tasks fulfilling the Hong Kong SAR Government’s requirement and the energy saving projects in compliance with the Buildings Energy Efficiency Ordinance. Communicate and coordinate with various internal to enhance the synergy for efficiently processing the subsidy applications. Promptly deploy manpower resources to cater for various needs in the processing of the technical and financial assessment for the subsidy applications. Regularly report the progress to branch head and management. Support the implementation of new initiatives under Scheme of Control regime. Keep abreast of the latest energy efficiency and innovation technologies for supporting the technical and financial assessment tasks as well as promotion to customers. Support developing strategies to achieve targets of the funding schemes. Assist in various analysis to support allocation of subsidy cost-effectively and identify insights for improvement of the schemes. Prepare progress report of SoC initiative achievement to the Government. Requirements: A recognized university degree or equivalent qualification in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical or related disciplines, with a minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in engineering capacity. Strong technical competence for verifying building services installations including air-conditioning system, lighting, lift, water pumping etc. covering both aspects of retrofit and retro-commissioning. Thorough knowledge of the Buildings Energy Efficiency Ordinance. Experience in design, installation and operation of building services systems, energy audit and building energy assessment & management is preferred. Experience in project management and contract administration is preferred. Strong analytic and communication skills. Customer-oriented, self-motivated, good team player, able to work under pressure and tight schedule. Rich knowledge in energy efficiency technologies. Excellent Command in written and spoken English and Chinese. Candidate with less experience will be considered for Assistant Engineer.
