Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Responsible for sustaining product performance and ensuring high uptime of test systems during NPI and production. * Lead troubleshooting of tester and product-related issues (e.g., Hydra/BER), driving fast root cause analysis and recovery. * Own preventive maintenance strategy, calibration, and system health to achieve >95% uptime. * Support NPI setup, qualification, and smooth transition to production with stable processes and good yield. * Work closely with Test Engineering, PE, QA, and Production to resolve downtime and improve test performance. * Drive yield improvement, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives (cost, cycle time, efficiency). * Mentor junior engineers and guide technicians on troubleshooting and best practices. * Track key metrics (downtime, yield, MTTR) and provide structured updates. * Requires engineering degree, strong hands-on experience in test systems, and problem-solving skills in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
