Job Description Senior Engineer (EDI Specialist) Experience: 4–7 Years Position Type: Consultant / Direct Contract Location: Bangalore Key Responsibilities Work with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems to manage and exchange business documents between internal and external systems/partners. Handle end-to-end integration flows including mapping, routing, transformation, and error handling. Collaborate with internal business stakeholders and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve data exchange issues. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of electronic document processing, especially for life sciences or healthcare-related business processes. Required Skills Hands-on experience with any major EDI software such as: Boomi, Inubit, Comarch, Abiba, TIBCO, or similar integration platforms. Strong understanding of business document standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HL7, XML, JSON, and flat file formats. Experience in handling B2B transactional data flows involving orders, invoices, shipping notices, acknowledgments, etc. Experience working with document translation, mapping, and EDI communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VAN, REST/SOAP). Practical experience in tracking, monitoring, and troubleshooting EDI transactions/logs. Ability to analyze integration issues and deliver quick resolutions. Preferred Experience in Life Sciences / Healthcare domain is a strong advantage. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relating to data exchange in regulated industries. Basic knowledge of SQL will be an added advantage for debugging and data validation. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving capability and ownership attitude. Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage urgency and critical issues independently. PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA: Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
