POSITION ROLE TYPE:

Onsite
Do you have experience in quality engineering and a passion for aerospace technology? We’re looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join the Windsor Locks (WLOX) Electronics Development Center (EDC), where you’ll make a direct impact on cutting-edge projects that support the Engine Control Systems (ECS) and, Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS) business units.
In the WLOX EDC, we specialize in assembling and repairing complex electronic components, such as circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and line replaceable units (LRUs), while supporting engineering development, qualification, and limited production. In this role, you’ll focus primarily on quality assurance, ensuring the highest standards for the systems we produce.
If you have experience in quality-centric manufacturing environments and are driven to ensure the success of development electronics programs, this is the opportunity for you. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining rigorous quality processes across all stages of production. Join our team and contribute to the continued success and innovation of our aerospace technology. We look forward to hearing how you can make a difference in this key role.
This position will be onsite, so the candidate will need to be able to report to the Windsor Locks, CT site.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Conduct thorough CRM/PQR investigations and provide guidance to the production workforce as issues arise.
  • Authorize temporary exceptions to Quality requirements and clarify drawing requirements per HS12000 standards.
  • Ensure that all necessary tests are performed on CRM units and act as a key decision-maker in determining hardware compliance.
  • Address and resolve calibration issues (SOOT) and support Engineering changes to ensure product manufacturability.
