WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Toyota’s Production Engineering – Environmental & Facilities Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to design and manage construction projects (expansions, renovations, greenfield, etc.) at our sites in North America.
The person in this role will support the Department’s objective to provide project management, engineering support, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs for North American manufacturing sites, Research & Development Sites and Logistics and Distribution sites.

Responsibilities
  • Lead project activity, including management of internal and external resources
  • Develop and review criteria (Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical) for design of buildings.
  • Provide technical support to North American Manufacturing Centers (plants) in the areas of building design and construction, including development and maintaining of building related standards.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for industrial buildings and building related systems (HVAC, air compressor, boilers, chillers, etc.) as technical support for local facility groups at each site, as well as for submittals during project management.
  • Utilize experience in plant planning project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs.
  • Provide Customer Satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customer to support their needs.
  • Prepare and report out detailed project status reports
  • Participate, conduct and lead engineering studies and technical problem solving
