Description
Design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure for Network Management solutions, including CI/CD pipelines, test environments, and deployment automation. Collaborate with software engineers, QA, SRE, security, and network specialists to define and implement automation strategies that improve reliability, speed, and security. Work with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver modern cloud compute and storage platforms focused on optimizing performance, cost, and reliability. Lead and contribute to optimization of CI/CD pipelines, containerization/virtualization strategies (RedHat OpenStack, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), software defined storage (PowerFlex) and infrastructure-as-code practices. Provide regular reporting and up-to-date metrics on cloud environments using observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics) Develop and maintain scripting and small- to mid-sized software components (Python, Shell, Ansible) to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflows. Apply problem-solving skills to diagnose issues in complex environments and implement durable solutions. Stay current with industry and telecom domain trends, including AI-assisted automation and large-scale telecom simulations. Mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) and a demonstrated track record of automating software delivery workflows. Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting virtualization/containerization technologies (RedHat OpenStack, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving mindset, collaborative teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail. Experience in fast-paced, customer-focused service delivery environments. Demonstrated ability to delivery with quality on time in high-priority software development projects. Has expertise in security-by-design practices and secure Software Development Life Cycle. Enjoys solving complex technical problems, automating workflows, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. Is motivated by applying AI technologies to automate complex processes, and capable of working with large-scale telecom simulations. Communicates clearly, collaborates across global teams, and demonstrates a proactive, delivery-focused mindset.
