Senior Engineer – Finance & HR
The Center for Elders’ Independence is a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the elderly) organization (PO) that uses an interdisciplinary team approach for care planning and implementing purposeful high quality, affordable, and integrated health care services to the elderly. Our elderly meet PACE requirements as prescribed by CMS and are referred to as participants. Our PO includes Adult Day Health Centers and primary care clinics, promoting participant autonomy, quality of life and the ability for individuals to live in their communities.
The Position: We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Finance to oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of mission-critical financial applications within our organization. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency, reliability and scalability of financial software applications, ensuring that they support day-to-day business operations. You will also manage systems integrations, troubleshoot complex issues to drive continuous improvements in our financial technology stack.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Collaborate with cross-functional team: Work closely with finance team, business analysts and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for financial systems. Translate these requirements into technical solutions that enhance efficiency and meet regulatory standards. Ensure alignment between business objectives and application capabilities, delivering solutions that support both short-term and long-term goals.
Integration Management: Oversee the integration of financial applications with other enterprise systems, such as HER, CRM, banking systems, and third-party data sources. Ensure that data flow is accurate, efficient, and secure across platforms.
System Optimization & Performance Tuning: Continuously, monitor the performance of financial applications, troubleshooting any issues, and implementing optimizations. Proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and scalability.
Security and Compliance: Ensure all financial applications are built with robust security measures in place to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Project Management: Lead projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines, resources, and priorities effectively. Coordinate with product owners and other departments to ensure deliverables meet business needs and are on schedule.
