Description
Description Senior Engineer to support chassis roll testing at its Vehicle Development Center (VDC), responsible for conducting vehicle emission or range determination tests in a team involved in testing light-duty to medium-duty vehicles, powered by gasoline engines, diesel engines, hybrid powertrains or battery electric vehicles. Preparation of vehicle chassis dyno tests for emissions or range determination. Quality checking of test results with detailed graphical analyses. Support of emission technician and dyno operators in troubleshooting equipment. Quality control of all systems involved for chassis dyno testing. Integration of new test cycles, equipment and processes based on regulations and customer requests. Coordination of testing with internal and external customers. Requirements Masters in Engineering or Bachelors with proven track record. 5+ years' experience with chassis roll emission testing or engine dyno emission testing. Detailed understanding of world-wide vehicle emission legislation. Knowhow of the latest emission measurement technologies. Experience with graphical data analysis tools (Uniplot preferred). Experience with calibration tools (e.g. ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, etc.). Knowledge of Horiba StarsVets or other chassis dyno automation systems a plus. Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience.
