THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented senior engineer with expertise in both front end and back end development to join our dynamic team. As a member of the Cards team within Flexipay, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for the Short Term Credit area. You will be responsible for crafting robust and scalable software that powers our card-related products and services, ensuring seamless user experiences from the frontend to the backend.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from enhancing existing features to building new functionalities, all while maintaining high standards of code quality, performance, and security.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Implement user interfaces and experiences that are intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing using modern web and mobile technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, React Native, etc).
• Develop server-side logic and APIs using Python to support frontend functionalities. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of software applications through thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software development, particularly in the financial technology sector, and apply them to enhance our products. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to coding standards and conventions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies within the team, driving efficiency and innovation.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
