Description

Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to support the Vertical Lead in pre-bid quantity estimation. They are responsible for the collation of data to ensure accurate quantity estimates and rates across the in-scope Projects. They support the Vertical Lead in quantity calculations, query submission and analysing key areas of complexity by reading schedules, bid drawings and survey reports. They create the synopsis for the awarded projects by collating the estimations and keep a record of the cost of competitors in the bid. The role holder completes the assigned activities in the bid analysis and costing process. Key Responsibilities Bid Creation and Submission – Ensure timely and accurate pre-bid quantity estimates, rates and query submission under the guidance of the seniors. Provide support in reading technical schedules, drawings and survey reports to extract data for BOQ calculations. Maintain a record of all the bids that GRIL participates in along with maintaining the GRIL bid values vis-avis the competitor bid values. Submit the learning synopsis for all awarded projects to the senior management. Analyse the bid documents for key complexity areas and their impact on the project value Reporting – Prepare accurate and timely reports for the management teams. Maintain all MIS and reporting systems with accurate reporting of data. Ensure timely submission of the synopsis in pre-bid and post-bid stages and escalatein case of any process delays and deviation from SOPs. Indicative Experience and Exposure Diploma in Civil Engineering with1-3 yearsexperience in Business Development or B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 1 year experience in pre-bid quantity analysis
