As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, you will be a vital part of the Ground and Underground Engineering Service Group who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. Manage work programs to ensure that they are delivered to client expectations, timeframes and specifications Deliver multiple concurrent projects across their entire life cycle, scope management, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management Be part of a supportive team that works together to meet our client’s goals Undertaking site investigations for a wide variety of large-scale infrastructure projects You will undertake a broad range of geotechnical specific tasks including site investigation, analysis, design, reporting, and construction supervision. Our team delivers projects of all sizes and complexities, and work in a diverse range of markets ranging from commercial/industrial building development and land development to transportation and municipal infrastructure projects. With at least 8+ years of experience in a similar consultancy-based role, the ideal candidate will possess the following: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical) Strong local experience in geotechnical analysis and design, with a focus on settlement, foundations, slope stability, and retaining wall design Skilled in developing ground models and identifying geotechnical risks Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, including experience engaging with clients on technical and commercial matters Proven experience in site investigations and ground modelling Committed to mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering technical growth and collaboration A collaborative team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment Why Aurecon?
