Job's mission In this role, you will develop control software for ASM’s PEALD/PECVD semiconductor equipment. You will design and implement software that is tightly integrated with real production equipment, playing a critical role in improving stability, productivity, and performance in semiconductor manufacturing environments. What you will be working on Develop equipment control software for PEALD/PECVD products Design and implement software feature using C++ and/or C# Create and maintain technical documentation related to software Control and integrate various devices within semiconductor equipment Develop device interfaces using TCP/IP, EtherCAT, DeviceNet, Serial, and other protocols. Develop touch-based user interface (UI/UX) for equipment control Analyze and resolve issues (defects and Bugs) from customer and manufacturing sites Validate software using simulators and demo equipment Perform software updates, upgrades, and functional verification on equipment Rapidly develop and deliver software to address equipment variations and customer requests Develop software components required for new PEALD/PECVD process development Lead software development for new tools in close collaboration with cross-functional teams What we are looking for Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of relevant work experience Solid understanding of object-oriented programming using C++ or C# Ability to communicate effectively in English (documentation and collaboration) Strong sense of ownership and proactive work attitude Team-oriented mindset with positive collaboration skills No restrictions on overseas business travel Even if your experience does not match every requirement, we encourage you to apply if you are eager to learn and grow.
