Job Description: Perform automotive product lifecycle and planning activities, including new product setup, product changes, EOL management, and execution of cross-functional planning requests. Execute PPAP activities, driving timely completion of documentation, customer submissions, approvals, and issue resolution through effective coordination with cross-functional stakeholders. Execute inventory management activities, APR updates, WIP/FG conversions, and lot disposition management to support customer demand. Respond to daily requests for information about the chemical contents of Microchip devices by selecting the relevant information from a database and putting it into an environmental reporting application. Provide engineering support throught document review and approval, and assisting with non-standard customer action requests. Prepare and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and documentation to support performance monitoring and process improvement activities. Provide technical and operational support by responding to APG-related inquiries from internal business units and field representatives. Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, industrial technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in the automotive semiconductor industry or a related manufacturing environment. Experience with data systems (ERP/SAP, Tableau, planning processes). Strong working knowledge of AIAG PPAP, IATF 16949, and core quality tools (FMEA, MSA, control plan). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently. High sense of ownership and follow-through. Comfortable coordinating across time zones and technical groups. Adept at interpreting technical data and quality documentation. Customer-focused mindset with a clear understanding of automotive expectations.
