I’m talking about the popular Java mocking library for unit tests.
There are so many tools and frameworks out there for creating and running automated tests, and as an experienced SDET, QA engineer, or whatever else you might call yourself, you’re not only proficient in a number of tools but also know when to use them.
This role as a Senior SDET would see you working in a team of test engineers, evangelizing automation techniques, as well as drawing on your knowledge to use the most effective testing tools for each situation. You would also be mentoring and leading other team members, exemplifying best practices in testing. You would have a responsibility for the definition and implementation of testing strategies.
You would be getting directly hands-on with a large customer service platform, making for a fast-paced and low-latency environment. You would also be maintaining and implementing CI/CD pipelines, so previous experience with these is preferred.
The company is seeking SDETs like you, with a proven track record in automation testing. Drawing on your strong ability to read, debug, and develop in Java, you can build out automation frameworks from scratch in your sleep using frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.What’s in it for you?
