Primary Function Support the ETL Certification & CB certification business teams comprising of Engineers, technicians and support staff to efficiently and effectively exceed our global & local client requirement and expectation for Certification and Testing for CB certification, ETL certification, CAS Testing for Luminaire, LED lighting products like Control gears, Self-ballasted Lamps and Luminaires and ensure that delivery of these services is consistent. This should be done in support of, corporate and divisional values, policies and objectives that enhances Intertek image as a Global leader in ATIC Industry Principal Duties & Responsibilities 1. Support the Manager in routine activities. 2. Need to be hands-on individual of independent handling of the Product certification for following standards: • UL 153. • UL 1598. • UL 8750. • IEC/EN 60598-2-1/ IS10322 (Part5/ Sec1). • IEC/EN 60598-2-2/ IS10322 (Part5/ Sec2). • IEC/EN 60598-2-3/ IS10322 (Part5/ Sec3). • IEC/EN 60598-2-4/ IS10322 (Part5/ Sec4). • IEC/EN 60598-2-5/ IS10322 (Part5/ Sec5). • IEC/EN 60598-2-8/ IS10322 (Part5/ Sec6). • IEC/EN 60598-2-20/ IS10322 (Part5/ Sec7). • IEC/EN 61347-2-13/ IS15885 (Part2/ Sec13). • IEC/EN 62560/ IS 16102 (Part-1). • IEC/EN 60529. 3. Draft test plans. Candidate will have to prepare a test plan/test data. Test plan/data is a specification sheet for a product and it contains - different test parameters, safety tests - relevant test method/standard - requirement / limit / acceptance criteria of each test. 4. Prepare Test reports as per above the Test Plan/Test Data. 5. Conversant with NABL, CBTL, BIS external and Internal Audit. 6. Provide technical assistance to clients and manage and resolve customer issues to ensure services delivered result in a high level of customer satisfaction. 7. Be a mentor to the employees and lead by example. Address all non-conformances within specified timelines. 8. Improve employee engagement within team. 9. Ensure quality of service is maintained throughout the certification and inspection process. 10. Balance workload between team members and other regional offices/international to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. 11. Ensure quotes and commitment dates are and in line with team targets. 12. Involve sales, marketing, business development managers and other corporate resources to maximize revenues and margins. 13. Responsible for occupational safety and housekeeping Preferred Education & Experience • Diploma / Graduate in Engineering. • 4+ years of certification or equivalent technical experience. • Independent worker, with leadership skills and ability to manage and inspire staff. • Experience in the area of product certification or technical understanding of products in the area of electrical/electronic engineering is preferred. • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong presentation skills and confidence to deliver message to wide audience. • Strong problem solving and organizational skills. • Strong facilitation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Support the ETL and CB certification business teams by independently handling product certification for lighting and electrical products. Responsibilities include drafting test plans, preparing reports, and managing client technical issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
