Description

1. Responsible for smooth operation of Utilities like Brine plants, Chilled water plants, Compressed Air, Nitrogen, Cooling Towers, Purified water, Thermopacks , HVAC etc and ensure their availability effectively as per production process. 2. Support to Project Team in erection & commissioning of various Utility Equipments like Chillers,VAM’s, AVAM’s, Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Cooling towers, Nitrogen plants, HVAC, Thermopacks etc. 3. Ensuring safe and smooth running of all equipments of utility departement. 4. To check all data related to all equipment is recorded correctly in log books. 5. Monitor operational parameters of all Utilities & ensure that these are as per the desired limits. 6. Ensure smooth working conditions for operators and helpers of the Department and resolve conflicts if any. 7. Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) 7.1 Maintain a current and complete chemical inventory and MSDSs in their workplace 7.2 Supervising personnel for effective implementation of the EHS program into the work processes. 7.3 Providing necessary information / equipments to subordinates to protect their health. 7.4 Auditing his/her area of control for improvement w. r. t. EHS and implementing corrective a 7.5 Ensure that organizational training requirements have been completed and provide individual instru ctions for all violations as highlighted in safety audits. 7.6 Ensure that organizational training requirements have been completed and provide individual employees with training specific to the area in which they will be working. 7.7 Making subordinates available for attending in house /out house EHS training. 7.8 Taking disciplinary actions against violators of EHS rules/regulations as highlighted during audits. 7.9 Prepare accident reports and forward copies to EHS and implement recommended corrective actions to avoid recurrence. 8.0 In case of absence job delegation shall be assigned to Engineer/ Sr engineer.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the smooth operation and availability of utility plants including brine, chilled water, and compressed air systems. Oversees the erection and commissioning of utility equipment while ensuring strict adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols.
