Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To manage the quality engineering activities for multiple projects within the software engineering team by collaborating with software engineers to drive scalable quality solutions that enable faster delivery with demonstrable business outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Works closely with project members, architects, and software engineers to understand the technical landscape and the context of deliveries to translate complex functional and non-functional requirements. Provides proactive and early feedback to business analysts to on any foreseen risks in the functional requirements and design. Ensures test strategies and downstream tests are in-line with the core problem business wants to solve. Takes full ownership of quality assurance test cases, ensure it covers all the non-functional requirements. Collaborates with the Quality Engineering Core team to ensure non-production environments and test data are available to support the complete set of testing activities across development teams. Liaises with other project teams to manage the testing of cross dependencies and works with Environment Management to resolve schedule conflicts. Ensures test tools are configured correctly and accurately to support the collection of metrics for program and enterprise-wide dashboards. Supports and guides Software Engineers to write and maintain automated functional tests through continuous integration. Implements, maintains, and adapts automation frameworks, and tests harnesses to make robust end-to-end tests. Facilitates the establishment and adherence to quality gate requirements to ensure process consistency and compliance with organizational standards. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field Experience in the quality assurance of large scale and mission critical business applications Fluent in English Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years COMPETENCIES Customer Focus Team work Effective Communication Personal Accountability & Commitment to achieve Resilience and Flexibility (Can do attitude) ISR REQUIREMENTS Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
