X-Markets ist ein Geschäftsbereich im Investment Banking spezialisiert auf strukturierte Produkte für Privatkunden. Wir emittieren und handeln Zertifikate und Optionsscheine mit Retail Broker und Börsen. Unsere intern entwickelte und betreute Anwendung für die Emissionsbuchungen nimmt dabei eine zentrale Rolle im Frontoffice ein. Mit seinen Straight-Through-Processing (STP) Fähigkeiten ist es mit internen Systemen für P&L, Risikoverwaltung, Dokumentation, Geschäftsabwicklung und regulatorisches Berichtswesen vernetzt. Sie würden als Teil eines globalen agilen Teams diese Applikation in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Geschäftsbereich betreuen und weiterentwickeln.
Als Senior Java Engineer sind Sie für die Entwicklung und Wartung Java-basierter Anwendungen für unsere leistungsstarke Handelssoftware verantwortlich.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Proficient in Java, with knowledge of its ecosystems. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Skill for writing reusable Java code. Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring
• Understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database design, querying, and management. Experience working with Unix-based systems and proficiency in Bash scripting
• Experience with cloud services, including deployment, migration, and management of applications in a cloud environment

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications for trading software
• Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills to debug and optimize code
• Provide technical support in collaboration with SL2 and SL3 teams, ensuring efficient resolution of complex issues

As a Senior Java Engineer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based application for our high-performance trading software.
