ABOUT MURSUN:

Mursun is at the forefront of clean energy innovation, specializing in advanced pyrolysis and gasification technologies for various clean energy products generation. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Engineer with deep technical expertise in the pyrolysis and gasification technologies and has the experience as project manager for syngas power plant projects.

KEY CHARACTERISTICS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical Expertise: A solid technical background, particularly in the field of advanced pyrolysis and gasification with at least 8 years of design and operational experience. Beyond pyrolysis and gasification, candidate must have the design and operational experience in syngas cleansing and enhancement, CO2 extraction and H2 extraction process. In addition, candidate must have a solid understanding of using syngas for gas turbine operations in co-gen and combined circle configurations.
• System Integration: Has real commercial project experience in integrating various components into a syngas power plant project.
• Engineering Integration: Ability to integrate various engineering disciplines to achieve cohesive project objectives.
• Project Management Experience: Extensive experience (more than 5 years) in managing commercial scale WTE and/or gas power plant projects, with a track record of successful project completion.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Experience in working with regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational capabilities to handle complex project dynamics.
• Emotional Intelligence: Strong EQ to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Language skills: Proficiency in Written and spoken English is essential in communicating with government agencies, superiors and clients in Singapore. As some of the superiors in the management team and workers as well as collaborators are Mandarin speaking only, abiity to speak Mandarin fluently will improve communiation productivity with this group.

• Technical robustness: ensure that the overall design of the gasification power plant is technically robust and able to meet the project’s objectives.
• Consultant Management: Proven ability to work and manage consultants of various disciplines to draw their expertise to achieve project’s objectives.
• Supplier Management: Work with PM to ensure that Suppliers clearly understand the technical requirements and deliver the equipment that meet the specified performance.
• Ensure On-Time Delivery: Work with PM to oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to synthesize engineering disciplines, leading to effective project outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Engage with government agencies to navigate regulatory requirements and ensure project compliance.
• Regular Project Reviews: Conduct reviews to monitor progress, address issues, and mitigate risks.
• Reporting: Report directly to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), providing technical updates, system performance and project status.
