As we continue to grow, we are excited to welcome a new team member for the following position: Senior Engineer - MX Fixture & Tools Role Purposes: Execute lean and Maintenance, Calibration and Troubleshooting to ensure excellent Availability Levels, Stable Processes, Cost Efficiency and a Sustainable CI Culture of most types of existing and released Fixture Tools; Follow established Lean principles with defined lean mindset within the location and execute improvement initiatives; Serve as a role model to others; Independently identify and implement sustainable resolution of issues related to most of the defined and released Fixture Tool of one or multiple technology area(s) in order to achieve optimal Yield and to avoid un-planned downtime or delays in MO processing for a disturbance free production; Competent in the technical designs of ≤ 90% of total Fixture Tools in Facility; Major Accountabilities: Provide technical expertise and support to all Fixture Tool related topics in day-to-day operation; Perform Failure Analysis of Fixture Tool issues, identify Root causes and develop repair procedure including component level; Develop and Sustain Traceability on Process level (e.g. buy-off and fixtures performance record); Based on TPU request, duplicate Jigs & Fixtures based on existing design. Actively review existing design and identify simplification or modularization of fixture without affecting product quality; Buyoff of Repairs, Replacements based on an existing drawing; Independently and actively provide technical feedback and sharing of daily experience for existing product portfolio in Fixture Tool related matters to R&D/Value Engineering and other relevant parties Take over new Fixture Tool from IE or TD during Prototype or Pilot phase Develop and maintain maintenance plans for Fixture Tool Execute preventive maintenance, 5S and repair for Fixture Tools this includes dismantling for periodical cleaning (with support of TPU/Operational pool). It is also inclusive of measurement in reliability after PM Fixture Tools Troubleshooting (second and third level support before calling fixture supplier) Identify new external supplier and coordinate with external suppliers for repair, preventive and reactive maintenance on Fixture Tools Assurance of spare parts and replacement to Fixture Tools Organize and/or execute Fixture Tool Maintenance and Calibration (incl. review of Service reports / Calibration Certificate) Ensure Fixture Tool safety according to existing documents Manage Fixture Tool documents (e.g. engineering drawings, manuals, etc.) Role Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanics or Mechatronics or equivalent education; Proficient in English (both verbal and written communication) is a must; More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing environment; Strong at Project Management, Microsoft Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Access) and CAD tools; Must have a practical knowledge of GD&T Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing; Competent in PCBA and other technical drawings and the relation to Fixture Tool designs; Actively and regular utilize Statistical data analysis tools, able to use and work with ERP system and manufacturing order management; For further information, please contact Ms. Jane Vu; email address thavu@vn.pepperl-fuchs.com Are you excited about this opportunity?
