The Banking Platform team is involved in several meaningful and evolving projects aimed at enhancing features for our Digital, Lender, and Broker channels. In this role, you will be supported to analyse, design and develop appropriate and effective IT and business solutions to meet the varied requirements across the Banking Platform portfolio. You will predominantly operate in an Agile environment, working with technology capabilities to consistently deliver value to customers. * We’re looking for a Senior Engineer with experience in Oracle Banking Platform (OBP) to contribute solution design guidance and technical expertise across loan origination and secured / unsecured lending initiatives. * You’ll work on meaningful projects that improve our Digital, Lender and Broker channels, collaborating with a cross‑functional group of engineers, architects and business stakeholders. * This role focuses on designing practical and reliable solutions that balance technical quality, risk and long‑term sustainability. * We value different ways of thinking and problem solving. Clear communication, thoughtful analysis, curiosity, and different problem‑solving approaches are valued alongside technical expertise. What do I need? * Practical experience or academic exposure to Java development * Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture * Foundational understanding of Oracle databases and SQL * Exposure to web services (SOAP, XML, JSON) and integration concepts * Willingness to learn tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins) * Clear and inclusive communication skills, with a willingness to learn from others * Ability to collaborate with others and approach problems in a thoughtful, structured way Why join us?
