Description

Preparing, reviewing, and approving of transmission line tower & foundation design including associated documents and accessories Preparing engineering documents related to transmission tower and foundation design. Designing as per relevant codes and standards Optimizing the overall weight of the tower and foundation with respect to tender quantity Performing Sag tension calculation and providing the approximate weight of the tower at the tender stage Designing of transmission tower, with the use of PLS Tower software for transmission line design. Create all associated Engineering Design calculations and documentation. Support the creation of all necessary material bill of quantity schedules. Attend site meetings (virtual) and provide ongoing design drawing changes / support as required during project build. Reviewing designs produced by suppliers and clients to ensure designs are technically compliant and in line with current legislation and policies.

Responsibilities

The Senior Engineer will prepare, review, and approve designs for transmission line towers and foundations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. They will also perform calculations and support project builds with ongoing design changes.
