SECTION I: ROLE INTRODUCTION Outlines the basic information of the role. Job Title Senior Engineer – PDI Reporting To Manager Location Gangaikondan Grade/ Level SE Job Objective To ensure all finished solar PV modules undergo thorough pre‑dispatch inspection (PDI), meet customer specifications and quality standards, and are shipped in perfect condition with complete documentation and traceability. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities KPIs 1) * Perform detailed PDI checks on finished solar modules as per customer and internal quality standards. * Verify module appearance, labeling, packaging quality, carton integrity, and palletisation before dispatch. * Coordinate sampling and inspection plans based on customer guidelines. 2) * Identify and classify defects during PDI and ensure only approved modules proceed for shipment. * Ensure proper segregation, tagging, and documentation of rejected or hold modules. * Support actions to reduce repeat PDI rejections through feedback and continuous improvement. 3) * Maintain PDI reports, checklists, and approval records for every shipment. * Prepare daily/weekly PDI reports covering pending loads, rejections, and inspection summaries. * Support internal audits and customer audits with required PDI data and documentation. 4) * Ensure all approved modules are properly packed, labelled, and palletised as per customer and logistics standards. * Assist customers during on-site pre-dispatch inspections or sample selections when required. * Address customer-specific packaging/labeling needs to avoid shipment non‑compliance. SECTION VI: ROLE PROFILE REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (EEE / ECE / Mechanical ). Experience 6–8 years of experience in solar module manufacturing, quality inspection, or testing.

The Senior Engineer is responsible for conducting thorough pre-dispatch inspections on solar PV modules to ensure they meet quality and customer standards. They also manage documentation, defect classification, and coordinate with logistics to ensure shipments are compliant and ready for dispatch.
