Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. We are seeking a leader to join us as a Senior Engineer, Piping. The Senior Piping Engineer is responsible for analyzing and overseeing the design of piping systems ensuring that the systems are efficient, safe and meet all regulatory standards. This position will be located in Houston, TX. Travel may be required depending on project location. This is an in office position Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (preferred).
10+ years of experience in piping layout, design and or engineering in the petrochemical industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Proficiency in design review software like SmartPlant Review and Navisworks.
Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, and PIP).
Proficiency in material identification and selection.
Strong knowledge of Cesar II and pipe stress analysis reports for all common systems of piping.
Experience with LNG projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of AIV and FIV principles and screening is preferred
Proficiency in development of piping material class specifications is preferred
Strong knowledge in NDE and testing requirements of piping systems is preferred
Proficiency in valve application and specification is preferred
