Document and promote usage of standardized workflows to support consistent high-quality software development. 4. Large-Scale Platform Adoption Design scalable adoption strategies for platforms, targeting widespread developer engagement through training, documentation, and onboarding frameworks. Conduct data-driven evaluations of adoption rates, time-to-value, and onboarding success for platform toolsets like GitLab and Backstage. Lead efforts to remove adoption blockers while ensuring global accessibility and localized user satisfaction. 5. Collaborate across departments, including DevOps, SREs, and governance teams, to shape aligned strategies and successful implementations. Guide global engineering teams on effective platform adoption, user governance, and efficient workflows. Champion developer-first principles that balance ease of use with operational scalability, integrating feedback from diverse user groups. 6. Proactive Optimization and Monitoring Monitor performance metrics, such as pipeline throughput, error rates, and infrastructure utilization, using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch. Optimize infrastructure for both cost efficiency and operational performance, leveraging Terraform and automated scaling solutions. Build reliability and self-healing configurations for consistent uptime and fast error recovery. 5+ years of impactful experience designing platforms and scaling enterprise-grade developer ecosystems. Proven success driving adoption of GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Backstage portals, and large-scale platform solutions across distributed teams. Technical Mastery Advanced knowledge of GitLab configurations, CI/CD automation, repository management, and pipeline optimizations. Expertise with Backstage maintenance, plugin development, catalog updates, and optimization for user-centric workflows.
