Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to financial planning, including preparing budgets and proposals
  • Support project tracking through reporting, results analysis, and corrective measures
  • Monitor project quality and ensure compliance with standards
  • Participate in project definition and planning
  • Establish design bases and develop engineering concepts
  • Prepare specifications and drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Size and select mechanical equipment
  • Define technical standards and develop specification lists

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Registered member of a provincial Professional Engineering Association (APEGA, APEGS, and/or EGBC)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection)
