The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Mercans' software solutions through manual and automated testing. The role leads QA initiatives, develops automation frameworks, mentors junior engineers, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and drives continuous improvement across software testing processes.

### Key Responsibilities

**Quality Assurance**

* Lead testing activities for payroll and HRM applications.

* Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, cases, and regression suites.

* Perform functional, integration, API, performance, and regression testing.

* Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.

* Analyze complex business processes and system behavior to ensure product quality.

**Test Automation**

* Design, develop, and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using Kotlin, Selenium, TestNG, Maven, GitLab, and related tools.

* Improve automation coverage and optimize CI/CD testing pipelines.

* Promote QA best practices and continuous process improvement.
