• Design, test, and launch new products and process improvements that enhance our customer offerings and production performance.
• Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation — balancing feasibility, cost, and timelines.
• Serve as a key partner to Sales, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to align technical outcomes with business goals.
• Troubleshoot issues on the shop floor, implement solutions, and ensure successful handoffs to production.
• Maintain and manage technical assets — including fixtures, tooling, and sensitive documentation.
• Keep a pulse on industry trends and represent Boyds at trade shows and technical events when needed.
