Role: Senior Engineer
Client: Leading Residential Developer
Essentials: HETAC Level 8 Engineering qualification, minimum of 5 years’ similar experience in Ireland, strong project management skills.
Location: Galway city
Salary: €65,000 - €75,000

Overseeing: Site management, quality assurance, subcontractor coordination, and stakeholder relationships
Our client, a leading residential developer, is seeking a high-caliber Senior Engineer to join their site team in Galway. The role involves managing health and safety on-site, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing quality assurance to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and project requirements.
Key responsibilities include managing and coordinating subcontractors and service providers to ensure testing and commissioning timelines are met, monitoring the quality control of subcontractor work, and ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and design standards.
You will also be responsible for reviewing design documents, participating in Design Team Meetings, resolving any design issues, and updating quality assurance documentation. Additionally, you will oversee specific work packages, manage third-party stakeholders such as Irish Water and local authorities, and implement value engineering solutions to drive project efficiencies.
