We are looking for an Engineer – Risk & Asset Integrity who is passionate about making a meaningful impact through thoughtful analysis, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
In this role, you’ll support operational teams in identifying and assessing asset-related risks and help develop actions that reduce the overall business risk profile. You will contribute to long-term planning and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of critical infrastructure, all in alignment with our Operational Excellence and Asset Management standards.
This role is a great opportunity for an accomplished Engineer with experience in Operations & Asset management. You will have a high level of involvement in Asset Risk and Asset Integrity program.

Reporting to the Superintendent Asset Integrity and working in a challenging and exciting environment, within the Integrated Operations Team, you will:

  • Participate in the implementation of IOC’s asset related risk management initiatives across the overall value chain and collaborate with all stakeholders
  • Lead or assist asset risk assessments utilizing appropriate approach and frameworks
  • Assist in the execution of risk-based audit planning and individual project scoping
  • Develop asset integrity strategies for aging assets and critical infrastructure
  • Support the Asset Integrity Assessment program and provide sitewide support
  • Develop long term program (5 years plan) for major remediation works
  • Assess and challenge the suitability of current equipment management strategies and having maintenance strategies modified and changed where necessary
  • Develop initial project scopes for Asset integrity driven projects to support the acquisition of funding approvals; including preparation of business case(s) and presentations
