Elevator Mechanics and Light Materials tribe is responsible of developing all mechanical elevator components in KONE portfolio globally and ensuring the safety, quality, and performance of those components throughout their entire lifecycle. We are actively scouting for opportunities to create new value for our customers by implementing new innovative and more sustainable elevator designs.
We are now looking for a Senior Engineer, Ropes and Hoisting to join one of the Elevator mechanics and Light Materials Tribe agile teams at KONE Technology and Innovation / R&D in Hyvinkää, Finland. In this role main duties are hoisting members and systems tangible projects having a crucial role in brainstorming test programs, test outcomes knowledge creation, calculations and engineering work ensuring hoisting components reliability and added customer value.
Our tribe works in a hybrid model meaning that work is conducted partly from home office (couple of days a week) and partly from KONE Finland Hyvinkää office. Work can however also be fully conducted from Hyvinkää office alone, if more suitable for the selected candidate.
Please notice that this role does require the selected candidate to live permanently in Finland.
