Job Description Summary of the Role: As a Senior Engineer, Slider Manufacturing Engineering, you will be responsible for automating inspection data collection and reporting to improve visibility, accuracy, and efficiency within manufacturing operations. You will analyze data to identify yield-impacting trends, develop real-time dashboards, and drive data-informed decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, automation, and vendors. The role also leads digital transformation initiatives, manages inspection algorithm updates and validations, and promotes a data-driven culture. Job Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities: Automate inspection data collection and reporting to enhance visibility and accuracy. Analyze data to identify yield-impacting patterns and develop dashboards for real-time decision-making. Collaborate with manufacturing and automation teams to integrate data from various systems. Lead digital initiatives to simplify processes and improve factory efficiency. Ensure data integrity and promote a data-driven culture within engineering teams. Maintain and troubleshoot tools, collaborating with vendors for system upgrades and repairs. Use data analytics tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI) to analyze trends and create visualizations. Focal person for inspection algorithm updates and validation to ensure consistent and accurate defect classification Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study. Industry exposure in the Electronics or Semiconductor Manufacturing setup is highly preferred. At least 4 years of engineering experience related to statistical data analysis tools, AI-based inspection, or IoT platforms. Skills and Competency Requirements: Proficient in software analysis and statistical tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of image processing, AI-based inspection, or IoT platforms is a plus. Knowledge of Python, SQL, or JavaScript for data processing is an advantage. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Willingness to learn new tools and systems. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written English communication skills required to conduct daily activities. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Highly motivated, participative team player with the ability to perform in a results-oriented and time-sensitive environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
