The Senior Software Engineer is a seasoned professional responsible for implementing complex software systems, leading development projects, and providing technical expertise. They are key contributors to the architecture and innovation of software products. Essential Functions: Lead the design and development of significant software features or projects. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and prioritize software requirements. Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality code standards. Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and bottlenecks. Contributes to the improvement of development processes and software architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and improve products. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, code comments, clear and efficient code. Assist in code reviews and enforce standard practices within the team. Continuously learn and adapt to modern technologies and development practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training. 4+ years of experience in software development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages. Deep understanding of software architecture and design principles. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Effective leadership and communication skills. Experienced working in a Full stack environment. Excellent communication and technical influencing skills. Required Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, JDBC, and MySQL. Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS, SQS, S3, SES, and RDS. Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and GitLab. Proven ability to design, build, and maintain REST APIs; exposure to or interest in gRPC. Solid understanding of agile development, including scrum and sprints. Demonstrated ability to optimize and tune system performance. Strong background in metrics, logging, observability tools, and improving operational visibility. Commitment to high-quality code with comprehensive automated testing; expectation of testing all new code. Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate clearly across teams. Willingness and ability to participate in PagerDuty on-call rotation. Nice to Have Experience building or working with Agentic Pipelines. Experience with front-end development (JavaScript, React).
