Description
Independently research, design, develop, modify, and verify software solutions, prototypes, and bench-level test activities with minimal supervision.
Investigate technical challenges, identify potential solutions, and evaluate options against component, subsystem, and system-level requirements.
Conduct technical research and feasibility studies to support product development and design decisions.
Translate user, system, and design requirements into detailed engineering specifications and software designs.
Provide software development effort, schedule, and resource estimates to support project planning and execution.
Design and implement software components using established engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Design, develop, test, and maintain complex C/C++ applications on embedded Linux platforms within a regulated medical device environment.
Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Qt and QML.
Implement and maintain communication frameworks between embedded devices and other system components.
Collaborate in system integration, verification, and troubleshooting activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
Generate, review, and maintain software lifecycle documentation, including requirements, architecture, design specifications, risk assessments, defect tracking, and test documentation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including systems, electronics, quality, regulatory, and product development engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
