Description

Responsibilities · Conduct the Supplier Vontier Assessment Process and drive for the improvements · Development and Qualification of Parts from the Domestic and Import Suppliers · Handling the Supplier Quality issues at the Incoming, Assembly and Field · Monitor and Improve the Supplier Performance and drive for improvements · Conduct the Manufacturing Process Audit at the suppliers and drive for improvements · Monitor the life of the casting tool and drive for the qualification of replacement tool · Implement the VBS Practices at the suppliers · Drive for the Kaizens at the suppliers to improve the FPY% · Conduct the required training for the suppliers for the development Essential · Qualification: Graduation / Degree - B.E Mechanical Engineer · Experience: Should have around 8 years of experience in the Supplier Quality Function Skills: · Should have hands-on experience in Aluminium Die Casting, Grey Iron Casting, Machining, Rubber, Plastic Molding and Surface Treatment Processes · Should have a hands-on experience in Supplier Qualification, Parts Development and Qualification and Quality Complaints Handling (8D, 7 QC Tools and Six Sigma Etc.,) · Should have an Experience in handling the various Measuring Instruments such as Profile Projector, Video Measuring Machine and CMM · Should have an experience in handling the IPO Projects (Supplier Qualification and Parts Development) for the global requirements Preferable · Supplier Quality Candidate from the Global MNC Organization is preferred Deliverables · Complete the Supplier Qualification based on the Vontier Assessment Requirements (Approved Supplier Category Rating >70%) · Qualification of Parts / Products at First Time Right by On-Time Qualification by 100% · Sustain the Supplier Performance (Quality and Delivery Etc,) into Preferred Category (90% - 100%) · Reduce the Supplier Quality Complaints (

Responsibilities

Manage supplier quality through assessments, audits, and performance monitoring to improve first-pass yield and reduce complaints. Oversee the qualification of parts and tools from domestic and import suppliers while implementing VBS practices.
