Job Description Design, develop, and optimize optical systems including camera systems and lighting configurations for test applications Develop and maintain automated reporting systems for Key Performance Indices related to Warranty Operations and test metrics Conduct comprehensive tests and validations for systems, test codes, and software solutions to ensure quality and reliability Identify and implement process improvement opportunities through collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Service Operations, and Brand Protection teams Analyze and provide recommendations for test infrastructure enhancements and optimization Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts Document test procedures, results, and technical specifications in accordance with company standards and best practices Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot complex technical/ systemic issues and implement effective solutions Contribute to team objectives and support related deliverables as needed Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering discipline – Master's degree desired Strong proficiency in C++ and SQL programming languages Experience with optical systems, camera systems, or imaging technologies is a plus Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and optimization methodologies Preferred : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments Skills : Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools Experience with LabVIEW, Spotfire, or Big Data Analytics platforms is added advantage Familiarity with JAVA development Additional Information WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
