With 12+ years of professional experience in traffic engineering and a proven track record leading large-scale urban master plan projects with high-rise development components, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of traffic management systems and infrastructure solutions. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to analyze traffic patterns, develop strategic solutions, and ensure efficient flow of operations across complex urban environments. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented approach, strong analytical capabilities, and a commitment to delivering organized, efficient solutions that meet our organization's evolving needs. Lead the design and development of traffic management systems and infrastructure solutions for large-scale urban master plan projects, with particular expertise in high-rise development integration and optimization Analyze traffic patterns and data using advanced modeling and simulation tools to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and capacity constraints in complex urban environments Conduct comprehensive traffic studies and feasibility assessments for new projects and infrastructure improvements, ensuring alignment with high-rise development requirements Develop and implement traffic optimization strategies that enhance system performance, reduce congestion, and support sustainable urban growth Collaborate with stakeholders, including urban planners, engineers, architects, and government agencies, to align traffic solutions with organizational and regional objectives on master plan initiatives Monitor and evaluate the performance of traffic systems, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and adaptive management Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, translating complex engineering concepts for diverse audiences Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical teams on assigned projects, providing strategic guidance and fostering professional development Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in traffic engineering and urban infrastructure design Ensure all designs and implementations comply with local Saudi Arabian infrastructure standards and regulations, while maintaining international engineering excellence Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related engineering discipline 12+ years of professional experience in traffic engineering, traffic management, urban infrastructure design, or related roles Proven track record of leading large-scale urban master plan projects with high-rise development components Strong proficiency with traffic analysis, modeling, and simulation software tools In-depth knowledge of traffic flow dynamics, network capacity planning methodologies, and infrastructure design optimization Demonstrated expertise in designing and optimizing complex traffic systems for dense urban environments Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop strategic solutions Proven project management experience, including budget oversight, timeline management, and stakeholder coordination Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences Proficiency in specialized traffic engineering software and real-time monitoring and control systems Familiarity with smart city initiatives and intelligent transportation systems (preferred) Knowledge of machine learning or artificial intelligence applications in traffic optimization (preferred) Understanding of regional infrastructure standards and Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements (preferred) Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
