Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Experience of supporting delivery of infrastructure through the Irish statutory processes including ABP/SID/Part 8 & associated EIA/AA processes
  • Experience of design of schemes in an urban setting
  • Significant technical design experience across a range of disciplines to Cycle Design Manual (or similar international cycle design guidelines), TII Standards, DMRB, SRW and MCHW, and DMURS or similar transferable international experience

Responsibilities
  • Deliver: Expected to lead and deliver on our portfolio of active travel or greenway schemes where there will be opportunity for significant progression where the right person will grow into a design lead and project manager role. You will also be involved in the delivery of key major roads packages for our national road’s schemes.
  • Oversee: You will be responsible for the appointment of competent discipline engineers for technical delivery. Plan and develop engineering tasks concerned with unique problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches.
  • Provide Expertise: You will have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team developing a range of local, national, and international road schemes or similar major civil engineering projects and will have been directly responsible for delivering scheme design packages, and coordinating input from other disciplines. The candidate will ideally have experience of working on urban schemes and dealing with the associated challenges.
  • Ensure Quality: Working through the complexities of our Transportation projects, you will hold our clients’ hands and overcome problems in unison when they inevitably arise.
  • Collaborate: Working with a team of multi-disciplinary engineers to deliver integrated designs and building effective relationships with our technical teams and Clients.
