Description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1.    Concept preparations and evaluation based on weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.2.    Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems. 3.    Vehicle calculation knowledge like, Wheel base calc, CG calc, Vehicle performance calc.4.    Lead DMU packaging reviews, Concerns resolution, Preparation of DMU reports & Sign off.5.    Support in Validation concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT6.    Support in Service concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT7.    Support in Plant concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT8.    Support Build at different phase of programme9.    Vehicle packaging and DMU sign off considering existing homologation requirements and future upcoming regulations.10.    Ensure EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track and coordinate other aggregate releases11.    Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Vehicle Target setting and Cascading the same to System level targets.12.    Manage homologation documentation, testing, etc.13.    Expreienced in GNOVAC/ Vehicle quality auditsExperience 6 to 10 YearsIndustry Preferred Qualifications BE/B.TechGeneral Requirements 1.    Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application2.    Knowledge of Frame design and Key design principles of other aggregates3.    Knowledge on manufacturing processes, plant assembly layouts4.    Knowledge of SAM process5.    DMU (Digital  Mock Up), 3D modelling, Assembly, Drafting (vehicle layouts) 6.    Hands on Experience on Catia & Team center PLM7.    Exposure to existing and future Homologation requirements of Commercial Vehicles CAE, Testing & Validation8.    Hand on experience on coordination with overall product development team including all aggregates, attributes, design and verification/validation9.    Knowledge of product complexity/modularity management, manufacturing methods10.    Knowledge of MPDS, APQP, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, QC Tools 11.    Knowledge of 8D12.    Ergonomics and Interior Vehicle Packaging 13.    Vehicle crash and Exterior Packaging 
Responsibilities
The Senior Engineer - Vehicle Integration will lead the packaging and integration of vehicle systems, ensuring compliance with homologation requirements and future regulations. Responsibilities also include managing DMU packaging reviews and supporting validation and service concerns tracking.
