Join Us as a Senior Full Stack Engineer – Shape the Future of Home Loans What’s the Role? We’re looking for a talented and growth-oriented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Mortgages Technology team. In this role, you’ll help build scalable, secure, and intelligent digital experiences for customers applying for and managing home loans. You’ll work across the stack—from React-based front-end interfaces to API engineering and AI integration—helping redefine mortgage services at one of Australia’s leading banks. This role is open for both Sydney and Gold Coast and is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React.js for UI. Design and optimise RESTful APIs for mortgage servicing and origination workflows. Integrate AI-driven features such as predictive servicing, document intelligence, and conversational interfaces. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to deliver seamless customer experiences. Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and agile ceremonies. Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, and performance standards. Support production handovers and assist with incident resolution when required. Mentoring junior Engineers and providing technical guidance. What do I need? Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js. Experience with backend API development using Spring Boot. Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI and microservices architecture. Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and Bamboo. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Experience in banking or financial services is highly desirable. Nice-to-Have Skills Programming experience in Python, with familiarity in ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn. Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like LlamaIndex, LangChain, AutoGen, etc. Exposure to Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and AgentCore. Understanding of Large Language Model (LLM) architecture. Knowledge of fine-tuning techniques and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Why join us?
