JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
· Minimum of 8 years of progressive engineering experience, ideally within pharmaceutical or aseptic manufacturing environments.
· Strong foundation in core engineering principles, including fluid dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and materials science.
· In-depth understanding of GMPs, FDA regulations, process validation, and purchasing/supply chain practices.
· Proven ability to lead multiple cross-functional teams concurrently.
· Demonstrated capability to influence stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
· Active participation in industry associations and professional networks is highly desirable.
· Track record of success in leadership and engineering management roles.
The Senior Engineering Leader will guide and develop a high-performing engineering team in support of pharmaceutical and aseptic operations. This individual will work cross-functionally to define product and process requirements, establish technical strategy, and ensure successful execution of projects with broad organizational impact.

Responsibilities

· Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and performance management for a team of engineers, supporting their technical and professional growth.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, develop innovative technical solutions, and drive projects from concept to implementation.
· Establish engineering best practices, procedures, and quality standards to support scalable and reliable operations.
· Oversee budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure project milestones are met effectively and within scope.
· Evaluate strategic alternatives and guide decision-making on project direction, balancing technical risk, regulatory compliance, and system-wide impact.
· Lead automation and digitalization initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes in production environments.
· Review and assess investment proposals, ensuring business justification and alignment with long-term operational goals. Approve and present high-value proposals to senior leadership.
· Manage multimillion-dollar project budgets, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting.
· Contribute to policy development and standardization efforts within the engineering department.
· Approve engineering documentation (e.g., change control forms, protocols) and mentor staff to grow into technical leadership roles.
· Develop and execute strategic resource plans by coordinating global engineering teams and vendor partners.
