QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws / regulations OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience OR in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Software engineering leadership experience with hiring and managing full stack development teams.
  • Individual contributor engineering experience in Microsoft C#/.Net Framework, HTML, CSS, and Javascript/ES6, plus experience with Typescript and Microsoft SQL.
  • Experience with system/software architecture design and building web applications.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and lead efforts spanning multiple stakeholders and the capability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent your team and the work to audiences with differing levels of technical fluency.
  • Hiring manager experience with the full recruitment lifecycle including attracting, recruiting, and retaining top engineering talent.
  • Experience with the avionics industry to include cockpit avionics, communication networks, and ground-based services. Direct experience in an airline operational unit would be a plus.
  • Experience with DevSecOps.
  • Familiarity with data analytics development and solution delivery as well as research and development areas of analytics (including artificial intelligence and machine learning).
