Our team at SoFi is looking for a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to join our Lending Division. You will lead the development efforts and collaborate with a group of talented software engineers. With your leadership your team will directly release consumer facing features and help grow the SoFi Home Loan business to new records. Each team is empowered to make technical conclusions. You will collaborate with business and product leadership and solve a wide range of challenges. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation, coding, testing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting mission-critical systems. You will work with the engineers on your teams to help them grow their careers along the way, as well as helping mold and grow the next leaders on your teams.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage multiple teams of Engineers with the focus on improving overall customer acquisition, automation, and funding volumes.
  • You have and continue to demonstrate command of the technical and operational requirements of your role.
  • You successfully develop employees and help them grow within the organization.
  • You resolve employee-related issues professionally - occasionally escalating these issues to the next level of the organization.
  • You fully comprehend, effectively communicate, and enforce goals and objectives, feedback, measurable, and improvement plans.
  • Monitor and understand the key metrics governing your product area, with an eye toward continuously improving them through ongoing product innovation.
  • Establish product delivery timelines.
