WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

As a Senior Engineering Manager (SRE) in the SaaS division, you will lead multiple SRE teams across a Product Area and work closely with other leaders to shape platform direction and engineering culture. You will be accountable for the delivery, people development, and strategic evolution of SRE practices as we scale our Azure-native SaaS platform.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Lead 2–3 Site Reliability Engineering teams, with responsibility for technical delivery, operational excellence, and team health. Coach and grow senior and lead engineers to become domain leaders within infrastructure and operations
  • Drive the evolution of SRE practices across your Product Area and help shape SaaS-wide reliability strategies
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making in engineering process, hiring, tooling, and SRE standards
  • Own the delivery of operational goals including onboarding automation, monitoring maturity, incident response readiness, and cloud cost optimization
  • Ensure engineering teams maintain high standards of security, reliability, observability, and compliance
  • Define and track meaningful SRE metrics (SLOs, SLIs, MTTR, etc.) to continuously improve outcomes
  • Enhance collaboration across Product Management, Architecture, and Cloud Platform teams
  • Ensure best practices in change management, root cause analysis, and runbook development
  • Guide team leads in prioritization, capacity planning, and cross-area initiatives
