About our group: We are seeking a dynamic and technically versatile Senior Engineering Manager to lead the CAG Infrastructure team across software systems and equipment hardware development. This role is critical to driving the modernization of software platforms and the successful execution of capital equipment projects that support RHT operations, DVL, and future test capabilities.About the role - you will: Software Systems Leadership Lead and mentor a team of software engineers responsible for developing and maintaining software applications supporting logistics, build, test, and configuration processes. Oversee the architecture and evolution of the DVL Nimbus data system, including backend configuration, data pipelines, and integration with analytics platforms. Champion the adoption of AI-enhanced development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and modern DevOps practices. Collaborate with RHT Ops, EI, and pFA Lab stakeholders to prioritize and deliver software projects aligned with business needs. Equipment Hardware Project Management Drive the development and deployment of capital equipment projects including:- AS/RS automation systems for HAMR ramp and factory integration.- DVL PPD/RT-PAD tools for MBA cleaning and real-time particle auditing.- MDVT tool upgrades and EOL replacements to support evolving test needs. - Laser tester upgrades and reliability tool assessments. Coordinate cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to deliver equipment that meets safety, contamination, and ergonomic standards. Manage project timelines and capital budgeting for equipment initiatives. About you: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, or related). 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record in both software and hardware project delivery. Strong technical background in:- Software: Full-stack development (C#, ASP.NET, Python, JavaScript, SQL), data engineering, and system architecture.- Hardware: Equipment design, automation systems, contamination control, and safety compliance. Experience in manufacturing or test environments (e.g., RHT, DVL, HAMR) is highly desirable. Familiarity with AI/ML integration and digital transformation initiatives. Your experience includes: Strategic thinker with a systems mindset and strong execution capability. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and talent development.
