Your mission: Drive change 🎯 We are looking for a Team Lead to guide a Web Architecture Team at TradingView. Our team is in charge of the infrastructure behind one of the most important parts of the company—our website, the place where users interact with our platform. This is not just about maintaining existing systems; it's about evolving them. We work extensively with Django and Python, but also own several high-load services in Golang. Expect to work on a diverse set of challenges and technologies in a high-performance, distributed environment. How you’ll shape success Product Ownership. Validate incoming feature requests, translate them into actionable product and technical requirements, and ensure alignment with company objectives. Team Leadership. Conduct code reviews, performance evaluations, and mentor team members. Lead recruitment efforts including interviewing and onboarding. Ensure all the business and technical metrics are evolving over time. Architecture Evolution. Lead the process of breaking down our Django monolith into scalable microservices. Design and guide the development of distributed services across multiple data centers. Cross-functional. Collaboration. Work closely with DevOps to align infrastructure with application needs and ensure scalable, reliable deployments. Coordinate with other development teams and project managers to align development with product timelines and goals. Engineering Excellence. Oversee backend and frontend architecture with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability. Support CI/CD pipeline improvement and smooth release workflows. What makes you the perfect fit 10+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development 2+ years in a Tech Lead or similar role (mentoring, guiding architecture, managing delivery) Strong Python skills and experience with Django/DRF Proficiency with backend system architecture and modern web technologies Experience in high-load, distributed systems Golang experience prefereed Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux, OS internals, and networking Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with relational (Postgres) and non-relational databases Solid understanding of system design and microservices patterns Experience monitoring production systems (Grafana, Zabbix, etc.) Strong communication and collaboration skills Russian speaking; English level B2+ It’ll also be an advantage if: You have experience with finance and trading, or knowledge of the industry.
