Responsibilities

People:

  • Provide timely and accurate resource requirements such as people/skills, tools, infrastructure to Centre of Excellence leads together with program discipline leads.
  • Work with first and second line functional leaders to identify program team staffing.
  • Provide Engineering & Technology program team recognition and stakeholder performance feedback.
  • Support the mentoring and career development of program team
  • Proactively communicates with all constituents.

Customers / Growth/ Financial:

  • Accountable for E&T technical, cost, and schedule performance on the program.
  • Member of Program Integrated Team and primary Engineering & Technology interface with Program Office/Customer for all programmatic items.
  • Ensure the E&T functional stakeholder engagement in program oversight and cost estimating review/approvals.
  • Monitor program performance including earned value management and technical progress measures.
  • Ensure technical and programmatic risks and dependencies are identified, managed and appropriately elevated.
  • Ensure technical integrity of program products.
  • Ensure requirements baseline is documented, tracked, maintained, and verified.
  • Ensure establishment and tracking of key Technical Performance Measures (TPM).
  • Track maturity of technical baseline and management of technical debt.
  • Ensure adherence to adequate and appropriately adapted Engineering & Technology processes.
