As a Senior Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the design, documentation, and delivery of a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, infrastructure, and industrial developments. • Assist in the preparation of planning and construction documentation in compliance with Irish building regulations and industry best practices.
  • Perform site visits, surveys, and inspections when required.
  • Manage drawing registers and ensure documentation is maintained and issued in a timely manner.
  • Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance and quality control.
  • Support the implementation of BIM standards and contribute to digital design workflows and efficiencies.
  • Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar civil and structural technician role within consultancy or construction environments.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (essential); experience with Civil 3D and Navisworks is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of structural detailing, including concrete, steel, and timber construction.
  • Familiarity with Irish building codes, TGD, and construction standards.
  • Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of BIM processes and experience working within BIM Level 2 environments.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage workload across multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Technology or equivalent).
  • Membership of Engineering Ireland or a similar professional body is a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • Flexible and hybrid working options.
  • Opportunity to work on high-profile projects across Ireland and internationally.
