Candidates cannot require sponsorship now or in the future** As a Senior Equipment Technician supporting our ALD team, you will help ensure the performance, reliability, and availability of our advanced ALD/Thin Films tools, including multiple ASM toolset configurations. Your work directly enables critical R&D that pushes technology forward in areas like precision materials engineering, device scaling, and next‑generation semiconductor innovation. By applying deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and an ability to collaborate across teams, you will help drive the breakthroughs that shape how the world connects, computes, and advances. Flexibility to work Mon–Fri (7/8am–4/5pm) and/or swing shift (3pm–12am) with occasional Saturday rotation is NEEDED. What you will be working on Perform major preventive maintenance on ALD/Thin Films equipment and maintain multiple ASM toolset configurations in optimal condition Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, thermal, vacuum, and system‑level issues to restore tool performance Conduct leak checking, subsystem diagnostics, and detailed equipment inspections Apply deep understanding of tool architecture and process integration to support complex troubleshooting Diagnose issues across interconnected subsystems, integrating data and system behavior to isolate root causes Identify trends related to gas‑delivery performance, thermal control, and process deviations, and collaborate to resolve them Perform root‑cause analysis (such as 5 Whys), document findings, and implement corrective and preventive actions Fine‑tune tool parameters and support troubleshooting requiring both hardware and process insight Maintain accurate part‑replacement, maintenance, and activity records Mentor junior technicians and contribute to continuous improvement of troubleshooting protocols Communicate updates clearly, manage expectations, and support timely resolution of equipment issues Collaborate across engineering, process, and account teams to implement durable fixes and enhance diagnostic approaches What we are looking for Technical school degree (2‑year program), or bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years’ experience, or 7 years of equivalent industry experience Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, particularly with ALD/Thin Films tools Experience performing root‑cause analysis and driving corrective actions Familiarity with preventive maintenance standards and documentation practices Ability to use basic computer tools for logging and tracking work Clear communication skills and ability to train others Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced team environment What sets you apart Experience with ASM ALD systems across multiple configurations Ability to integrate data from multiple subsystems and apply system‑level thinking to resolve complex issues Experience with gas delivery, thermal control, and process‑hardware correlation Skilled in using statistics or data analysis tools for predictive maintenance and trend identification Experience mentoring technicians and contributing to diagnostic process improvements Proven ability to collaborate across engineering and cross‑functional teams to implement lasting solutions Apply today to be part of what’s next.
